Techung will join an all star cast at the “Maintaining the Momentum: A Call to Action on Climate Change” event being organized by Jesse Paris Smith. The concert will be held on September 19 at City Winery in NYC in partnership with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The event kicks off the start of Climate Week NYC, the international event that gathers business and government leaders together to continue.the transition toward net zero emissions, 30 events are now confirmed to take place across the city, according to the organization’s press materials.
The Climate Group will convene the annual Climate Week NYC from September 19-25, bringing together hundreds of delegates from around the world for business and government panel discussions, workshops, academic seminars, exhibitions and artistic productions, covering the key themes of the climate change agenda.
With the historic Paris Agreement reached in December, and a pivotal US election on the horizon, this year’s Opening Ceremony, America Means Business: US Leadership in a post-Paris World, will focus on topics including climate leadership in the 21st century, technology and innovation, as well as the clean energy transition.
